Unger music is a booking and production agency for musicians. My agency offers international
artist booking and tour management services based on a personal vision: to design and initiate innovative projects and productions that integrate different musical genres. The basis of what I do reflects my love of music and deep respect for artists and their work. I am convinced that an
open mind, creativity in management and a personal connection to the artists are the key to success. I believe that music is an indispensable part of every human's happiness.

In addition to the above mentioned activities, unger music offers project and production management for cultural and corporate events, as well as artistic direction. 

About Jutta Unger

After receiving her law degree, Jutta Unger's career and skills have been shaped by a wide variety of roles in the music and culture business. In connection with these activities she has  worked with artists including Fura dels Baus, Dave Brubeck, Emir Kusturica, Count Basie Orchestra, Eddie Palmieri, Paul Kuhn, Freddy Cole, Hiram Bullock, Mezzoforte and many more.  

Jutta's years of working in the pop and jazz fields continue to fuel her growing arts world network in both scenes.
 
The vast spectrum of her activities ranges from booking and tour management for large, internationally renowned, open-air theatre productions, to being the musical programme director for the Limelight Theatre in Cologne. Jutta was directly involved in designing and coordinating TV programmes and events, including for the WDR. She has befriended countless musicians through her experiences a booking agent and tour manager for jazz ensembles from the USA and Europe.

Together with the Montanitz agency, Ms. Unger organised the open air programme for the Expo 2000 in Hannover, as well as creating shows for various industry events, always with an emphasis on music. She has also held various managerial roles at the international music festival "c/o pop" in Cologne, (www.c-o-pop.de). There, she coordinated the "c/o pop festival" and the "business platform c/o pop convention," for the management of international co-operations and the festival network "Europareise", which comprises approximately 100 festivals worldwide.  

2017 found Jutta working as artistic director for the "Jazz Au Chellah" Festival in Rabat, Morocco.

 

Since 2016 she has been the CEO of Freie Volksbühne Köln e.V., a subscription organization for cultural events from Jazz, pop and classical music to theatre, dance, cabaret and art exhibitions. 

 

Since 2023 Jutta Unger is working with Music Works International as an independent booking agent for Dianne Reeves, Christian McBride, Vijay Iyer and Gerald Clayton in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as for Stacey Kent and Francesca Tandoi in Germany.  www.musicworksinternational.com
